Recreation Park 1884-1890
  On the North short of the Allegheny River, near where PNC Park stands today, the Pirates play their first game at Exposition Park.  Exposition Park and Boston;s Huntington Avenue Grounds hosted the first Major League World Series in 1903.
Exposition Park 1882.05.09 - 1915.10.02
  On the North short of the Allegheny River, near where PNC Park stands today, the Pirates play their first game at Exposition Park on 1891.04.22.  Exposition Park and Boston;s Huntington Avenue Grounds hosted the first Major League World Series in 1903.  The park was revamped a few times, once due to flooding of the lower field.  The opening to closing dates for Exposition Park are 1882.05.09 - 1882.08.30, 1883.05.01 - 1883.06.09, and 1890.05.19 - 1915.10.02.
Forbes Field 1909 - 1970
  Near Schenley Park, Forbes Field is the only home for the Pireates that was not on the West bank of the Allegheny River.
Three Rivers Stadium 1970.07.16 - 2000.10
  In an all new design, double knit uniforms, the Pirates lose to the Cincinnati Reds in the first game played at Three Rivers Stadium.
PNC Park 2001.04.09
  PNC Park opens.  This is the fifth home to the Pittsburgh Pirates since their inception 1887.
